"Scheme to Provide Special Financial Assistance for Organizing Cultural Events" is a Grant-In-Aid to the NGOs designed to provide financial support to institutions, cultural groups and individuals to organize/conduct various types of Cultural Events/Programmes/ Exhibitions/Festivals/Workshops.

1. Financial grant maximum upto ₹ 5,00,000 or 80% of the expenditure incurred for organizing the cultural events, whichever is less, based on the nature of the cultural events. 1. However, in the case where the Directorate of Art & Culture suo-moto identifies any institution or group or individual person to organize any Cultural Event/Programme/Exhibition/Festival/Camp & Workshop for the Department of Art & Culture then the grant a maximum upto ₹ 5,00,000 or 100% of the expenditure incurred for organizing the event, whichever is less shall be granted for this purpose.
[NOTE: The applicant shall get the financial grant to the extent decided by the Department of Art & Culture/ Government based on the nature and scope of the proposed cultural event and the reputation, standing and eligibility of the applicant.]
Required Documents
- ✦Copy of Registration Certificate, if applicable.
- ✦Copy of Detail Estimated Expenditure of the Said Event.
- ✦Affidavit (to Be Executed on Appropriate Non-judicial Stamp Paper Duly Notarized/countersigned by Mamlatdar as Per Enclosed Sample Copy)
- ✦Programme Details i.e. Artist (Goan & Non-Goan) & Performing Group Details.
- ✦If the Grant Was Sanctioned in Preceding Years, an Original Copy of the Audited Utilization Certificate and Income and Expenditure Statement of the Event Duly Certified by the Chartered Accountant Along With the Photographs, Paper Cuttings Etc.
- ✦Bank Details (Only Nationalised or Scheduled Bank) With the Cancelled Cheque and Passbook Copy as Per the Name Proposed in the Application)
- ✦Identity Proof i.e. Aadhar Card, in Case of Individual Applicants.
- ✦NOTE: All the enclosures are to be submitted by the Institution/Individual duly signed along with the seal.
