Pradhan Mantri Adi Adarsh Gram Yojana (PMAAGY)

The scheme "Pradhan Mantri Adi Adarsh Gram Yojana (PMAAGY)" by the Ministry Of Tribal Affairs, Government Of India, aims to transform villages with high Scheduled Tribe population into model villages through providing financial assistance for infrastructure gap filling and socio-economic development to the tribal communities. The scheme focuses on villages having at least 50% ST population. It supports the preparation and implementation of Village Development Plans. Funds are utilized for critical infrastructure gaps not covered under other schemes. Convergence with other Central and State schemes is encouraged for holistic development.
