About This Scheme

The scheme-component "Support for Development of Standards and Accreditation/Certification of Ayush Products and Materials in Collaboration With BIS, QCI and Other Relevant Scientific Institutions and Industrial R&D Centres" under the "Ayush Oushadhi Gunvatta evam Uttpadan Samvardhan Yojana" implemented by the Ministry of Ayush, Government of India, focuses on strengthening the standardization ecosystem for Ayurveda, Siddha, Unani, Homoeopathy, and other Ayush products and raw materials. Financial assistance is provided to eligible organizations and institutions for research, testing, and development of quality standards, accreditation systems, and certification mechanisms. The scheme also supports capacity building, training of technical staff, and associated activities required for the development of scientifically validated standards. Each supported organization is expected to develop standards for a specified number of Ayush materials annually.

Benefits

Financial Assistance:

Funding up to ₹20,00,000/- per year per organization/institution for the development of standards and related activities.

Reimbursable Expenditure:

Salary of contractual manpower engaged in the project.
Collection and testing of samples.
Training of technical staff at PCIM&H, HPL, NABL, etc., as per approved norms.
Office expenses exclusively for the project.
Any other justified expenditure required to achieve project objectives.

Expected Deliverables:

Development of standards for at least 20 Ayush materials per year along with associated technical activities.
